This wedding hosted at Malibu Solstice Vineyards was absolutely stunning! Rolling green hills, rich vineyards, and a ceremony sitting on the edge of a hill overlooking the Pacific made this venue a photographer’s dream. A very special part of this day was the right before the ceremony – it was important to Larissa & Fred to see each other for the first time as she was walking down the aisle (something I completely understand – that’s how my husband and I did it)! But they also wanted the opportunity to reconnect before their ceremony. So we did something new, called a “first touch.” They stayed on either side of a building and without looking at the other, reached around the corner to hold hands. They spent a few minutes checking in on each other (so cool) and then said a prayer over their day. They ended with Fred closing his eyes and Larissa giving him a quick kiss. It was a simple way for them to have an intimate moment before the BIGGEST moment of their lives!
